I still say Godzilla should have won that battle.

If somebody remade King Kong vs. Godzilla, that would be rad, depending that the director doesn't screw it up...

There was a 60's movie called 'King Kong VS Godzilla'. It sucked and was really biased. It was created and directed by americans and they wanted to show how much better they are at making monsters than the japanese.

You probably allready know this, but When that movie came to the US, producer John Beck had all but a few of Ifukube's original musical score removed, just because he claimed it sounded "Too oriental" since the US was so culturally isolated back then. up untill this very day, the removal of Ifukube's score pisses off Godzillla fans.

I can only imagine how John Beck would react to kaiju-fan critisism if he were alive today. If a bunch of fans came up to him and scolded him for changing the music, he'd probably responded to them by saying "Oh my god, you guys are so unpatriotic!". XD
